Hi you two,
I think the applause from a packed audience last night said it all.
You were quite perfect; after each piece voices around us were saying lovely things about you both, a wonderful pianist, beautiful voice and both so lovely and the same at the interval. We were secretly chuffed thinking ‘we know those two lovely ladies’ but saying not a word.
The programme was perfect. Just the right mix of opera and modern songs. Some of the music we hadn’t heard you do before which was a real treat. Such a clever mix – some bringing a smile, some a tear almost. The whole evening was quite magical and your handling of the little mix-up on the next piece you were to play was delightful – the audience loved that too.
It was such a lovely concert and I just hope there were some people in who will pass the word and you get many more bookings. Give us the dates – we’ll be at every one!
